We are all mourning the unexpected loss of Brian "Voice Porter" Hawkins, who was a light and a leader in the Birmingham poetry community. It is our hope that through continued community building, sharing of art and hearts, and dedication to making the world a better place that we can truly honor Voice's legacy. To that end, we're dedicating this year's 100 Thousand Poets for Change: Birmingham to Voice's memory We invite you to attend this virtual event on Saturday, September 25th at 1pm CST, and join us in fundraising for The Color Project and/or the Voice Porter Memorial Fund.
